Job summary

IFZA Dubai is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead IT initiatives spanning infrastructure, security, and digital strategy in a fast-paced environment in Dubai.

You will coordinate with IT professionals, manage vendors, and partner with business units to ensure projects deliver ROI, stay on schedule, and comply with regulatory standards. The role requires strong leadership, cloud and cybersecurity expertise, and a track record of delivering large-scale IT programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CIO, ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Cloud certifications) are a plus
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in technical operations, infrastructure management, or IT leadership
• Strong expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, ERP/CRM systems, and data analytics
• Proven experience in leading large-scale IT projects and digital transformation initiatives
• Ability to translate business needs into IT strategy, focusing on ROI and cost efficiency
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Job Description

The Technical Project Manager reports to the Head of IT & Digital and will work on projects that will cover technical operations, infrastructure, and IT strategy. This role ensures all technology systems and applications effectively support business objectives. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to align technical operations with both internal and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of technical systems to meet business requirements.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient IT service delivery.
• Oversee the IT operations budget, track expenditures, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, industry best practices, and security standards in data privacy, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard IT infrastructure and sensitive information.
