Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking a technical data analyst/production support professional to triage backend issues, conduct RCAs, and write SQL queries on SQL Server. You will validate data across systems for project deliverables and oversee deployments with Jira-driven backlogs and sprints.

The role requires a 2+ year track record, strong Excel skills, and experience interpreting logs for debugging, with a focus on data-driven insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer/technical field.
• 2+ years in technical data analysis or product support.
• Hands-on SQL Server and scripting experience.
• Advanced MS Excel with pivot tables.
• Knowledge of backend systems and data flows.
• Experience reviewing logs for debugging.

Responsibilities

• Triage complex backend issues across services.
• Perform RCA on production anomalies and report findings.
• Write and run custom SQL queries on SQL Server.
• Validate data across systems for deliverables.
• Oversee deployments and maintenance windows.
• Track work in Jira, manage backlogs and sprints.
• Translate findings to actionable leadership insights.
• Maintain configuration control docs and architectural versions.
• Map processes to runbooks and documentation.
• Enhance Confluence knowledge bases.
