Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Technical Pre-Sales or Solutions Engineering.
• Fluent professional English.
• Startup/scale-up experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Master's degree or PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally within the private sector.
• Strong understanding of quantum computing fundamentals and the broader quantum technology ecosystem.
• Knowledge of quantum algorithms, machine learning, HPC or other relevant computational technologies would be highly beneficial.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Technical Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Field Engineering, Applications Engineering, Technical Business Development or a similar position.
• Experience working directly with external customers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Previous experience within a startup, scale-up or high-growth technology organisation would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of commercial performance metrics and sales processes is desirable.
• Fluent professional English is essential.
