Job summary

QuantumGate in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, automate, and scale cloud infrastructure. You will manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes and build IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.

The role emphasizes CI/CD automation, security best practices, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK, with 6+ years of experience and hands-on cloud proficiency across AWS/Azure/GCP.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to build, automate, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure security, with a focus on improving system reliability and enabling efficient software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Implement configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Implement infrastructure and application security best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and application security.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and production workloads.
• Experience implementing infrastructure security, IAM, secrets management, and network security.
• Experience with observability, incident response, and infrastructure performance optimization.
• Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
