Job summary

Dubai Holding invites applications for a facilities and handover specialist to oversee the transition of developments into community operations. You will lead handovers, manage snagging and DLP, inspect common areas, and coordinate with contractors and engineers to ensure quality delivery.

You will communicate technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders, review drawings, and prepare readiness reports to support operational decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management or related discipline; Civil Engineering background preferred.
• Experience supporting property handovers, DLP, community management transitions, facilities management, construction, or real estate development projects.
• Strong understanding of common area inspections, building fabric assessments, and MEP systems.
• Experience with defect identification, snagging, de-snagging, rectification works, and contractor coordination.
• Ability to inspect common areas and amenities prior to takeover, and communicate technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical transition of completed developments into community operations from handover to operations.
• Lead the technical takeover of residential and mixed-use developments before handover to community management.
• Manage snagging, DLP, and post-handover activities to close issues.
• Inspect common areas, amenities, building fabric, and units for readiness and quality.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, QA teams, engineers, and community teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure rectification works meet standards.
• Build relationships with residents by providing technical guidance and managing expectations.
• Review drawings, identify concerns, and provide recommendations for successful handovers.
• Prepare reports on handover readiness, defect status, and post-handover activities.
