Job summary

Dubai Holding Real Estate is seeking an experienced professional to manage the technical transition of completed developments into community operations in Dubai. You will lead handovers from project delivery teams, oversee snagging, DLP, and post-handover activities to ensure quality and timely closures.

You will inspect common areas and building fabric, coordinate with contractors and management teams, and provide guidance to residents during the handover process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management or a related discipline is required.
• Civil Engineering background is highly preferred for this role.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, common area inspections, and building infrastructure readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical takeover of residential and mixed-use developments from project delivery teams to community management.
• Manage snagging, de-snagging, DLP, and post-handover activities to close issues timely.
• Conduct inspections of common areas, amenities and units to verify readiness and quality pre-handover.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, QA teams, engineers and community management to resolve issues.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure rectification work aligns with quality, safety and timelines.
• Build relationships with residents by providing technical guidance and managing expectations during handover and DLP.
• Review drawings, identify technical concerns, and provide recommendations for successful project transitions.
• Prepare reports on handover readiness, defect status and post-handover activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in facilities management or related discipline

Civil Engineering background preferred
