Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical documentation, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Experience working with engineering or manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain service manuals, repair guides, and owner’s manuals.
• Collaborate with engineers and SMEs to gather and verify technical info.
• Convert engineering specs into clear, structured documentation.
• Ensure documents meet industry standards and company guidelines.
• Update docs for product changes, feedback, or regulatory requirements.
• Manage document version Control and retain documentation systems.
• Use tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MS Office, and CAD viewers.
• Support training teams with instructional and reference materials.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

• Develop and maintain service manuals, repair and maintenance guides, owner’s manuals, technical bulletins, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to gather and verify technical information.
• Convert engineering specifications into clear and structured documentation.
• Ensure all documents comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Update documentation based on product changes, feedback, or regulatory requirements.
• Manage document version control and maintain documentation systems.
• Use tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Office, and CAD viewers.
• Support training teams by preparing instructional and reference materials.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
