Atkins Realis Group is seeking a Technical Coordinator to support planning, coordination and execution of electrical engineering activities for power projects. The role interfaces with engineering, project management, procurement, construction and client teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering or project coordination in power/energy/EPC.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, and distribution networks.
• Experience in power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, or industrial power projects.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and local regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, EPLAN, or equivalent tools.
• Strong testing, commissioning, and maintenance practices for electrical systems.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical engineering activities across power projects from design through commissioning.
• Review and monitor electrical drawings, SLDs, load calculations, and technical specifications.
• Liaise with engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Track project schedules and support timely resolution of technical issues affecting execution.
• Coordinate procurement activities for electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, cables, protection systems and related components.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning activities for compliance with specs and standards.
• Facilitate technical discussions, design reviews and project coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations and company standards.
• Review submittals, method statements, inspection reports and vendor documentation.
• Support project teams in preparing progress reports and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical system issues during construction and operation.
• Maintain project documentation and accurate records throughout the lifecycle.
