Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in backend development with languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Extensive experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Demonstrated expertise in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data integration patterns.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers in an agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of core platform features, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
• Collaborate with product management to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Oversee code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Identify and implement improvements to our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance our platform's capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert guidance for resolution.
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for RHIA's product offerings.
