Job summary

AccorHotels Middle East seeks a senior Engineering Leader to direct the Engineering, Maintenance and Asset Management across two luxury hotels in the UAE. You will oversee MEP infrastructure, drive preventive maintenance and establish long-term replacement plans to ensure guest comfort and safety.

You will lead major projects, manage CAPEX, coordinate with ownership and operators, and drive energy efficiency, regulatory compliance and ESG initiatives across the cluster.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years’ engineering experience in upscale hospitality, commercial buildings or large-scale properties.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a senior Engineering/Technical leadership role, ideally multi-property management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Engineering, Maintenance and Asset Management function across two hotels.
• Oversee building infrastructure including MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximise asset reliability.
• Establish long-term asset replacement plans and investment priorities.
• Lead major engineering projects, renovations and upgrades from concept to handover.
• Manage CAPEX plans, budgets and business cases with cluster GM and owner representation.
• Provide technical review and oversight of consultants, contractors and designs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, fire/life-safety standards and brand standards.
• Drive energy, water and utility optimisation and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead engineering teams, manage supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement.
