Job summary

Jumeirah Muscat Bay invites applications for a Team Lead - Housekeeping to oversee daily operations, guide the team, and uphold the brand’s service standards in a luxury resort environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hospitality experience, a High School Diploma (Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management is desirable), and a proven ability to work in an international setting with cultural awareness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma essential.
• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management desirable.
• 2–3 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company.
• Experience in an international environment with cultural differences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and guide the team with professionalism and integrity.
• Plan work schedules, delegate tasks, and brief colleagues on daily responsibilities and changes.
• Ensure guests and colleagues are welcomed and attended to discreetly and efficiently.
• Manage administrative duties including reports, filing, stock inventories, vendor directories, and contracts.
• Coordinate vendor registration, price updates, purchase orders, and allocation of operational expenses.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

• Oversee daily operations, guide and motivate the team, and lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
• Plan work schedules, delegate tasks, prepare duty rosters, and brief colleagues on daily responsibilities and operational changes.
• Ensure guests, clients, and colleagues are welcomed and attended to professionally, discreetly, and efficiently.
• Manage administrative duties, including reports, filing systems, stock inventories, vendor directories, and contract documentation.
• Coordinate vendor registration, code creation, price updates, purchase orders, and accurate allocation of operational expenses.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints, report operational issues, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, audits, and hospitality standards.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (essential); Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or any other relevant field (desirable).
• 2-3 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company.
• Experience working in an international environment with a clear understanding of cultural differences, demonstrating trust and respect for everyone.
