Job summary

Bombardier’s Abu Dhabi Service Center, a flagship MRO facility at Al Bateen Executive Airport, opens in Q1 2027. UAE relocation required; UAE-based candidates without relocation support are welcome. UAE Nationals encouraged to apply.

You will lead daily maintenance operations, ensure safety and compliance, coordinate resources, and mentor teams to deliver exceptional aircraft maintenance across Bombardier’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• GCAA and/or EASA Part 66 Aircraft Technician License: B1 and/or C.
• Type-rated on Bombardier Business Aircraft (Challenger/Global).
• 8+ years experience on Bombardier Global/Challenger series.
• Minimum 2 years leadership/supervisor experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Up-to-date knowledge Appendix I to Part-66, Part-M and Part-145.
• Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations.
• Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL where relevant.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with maintenance tools and ground support equipment.
• Willingness to work shifts and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, on-schedule work per OEM instructions and regulations.
• Coordinate manpower, workload, overtime, and resource utilization.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting to maintenance teams.
• Supervise and certify maintenance actions and release to service.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate to project managers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and regulatory records.
• Promote safety, quality, compliance, and SMS adherence.
• Support audits, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous compliance.
• Mentor team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage with customers, project teams, suppliers, and regulators to ensure service excellence.
