Arcadia British School is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant to help students with special educational needs in an inclusive classroom environment. You will support planning, deliver targeted interventions, and collaborate with teachers and the Inclusion team.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in SEN support within a school, strong communication skills, and experience with primary-level SEN. Desirable qualifications in education or inclusion are noted.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a school environment supporting students with SEN.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education, inclusion, or support work (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Experience working with students with SEN at Primary level (preferred)

• Provide one-to-one or small-group interventions to support academic progress, social development, and emotional wellbeing.

• Promote student independence, resilience, and confidence using inclusive strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Support students inside and outside the classroom, including during lessons, transitions, and enrichment activities.

• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued.
• Collaborate with colleagues and attend relevant training to continuously develop knowledge and practice in SEN support.
