This Primary-Secondary Education role requires an experienced Modern Foreign Languages teacher capable of teaching French and Spanish from Year 6 to Year 13 within the British curriculum. • Teach French and Spanish across Year 6 to Year 13.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the British curriculum across the relevant year groups.

Differentiated Learning

• Identify SEN, POD, EAL, and gifted and talented students and ensure their individual learning requirements are addressed through appropriate differentiation.
• Use prior attainment, assessment information, and performance indicators to adjust teaching and provide suitable levels of support and challenge.
• Collaborate with speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists, and other professionals when required to support individual students.

Assessment and Academic Progress

• Use assessment for learning consistently to evaluate understanding and identify appropriate next steps.
• Assess how effectively learning objectives have been achieved and use findings to strengthen future teaching.
• Mark student work regularly and establish appropriate targets for improvement in accordance with the school 's marking requirements.
