Rugby School Dubai, in partnership with Aldar Education, is seeking an outstanding MFL teacher for immediate maternity cover. Opened in August 2026, the school aims to deliver a world-class British education rooted in The Whole Person, The Whole Point.

You will teach French and Spanish from Year 6 to Year 13, working within a values-led, high-performance environment. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with PGCE and at least 1–2 years of teaching experience, including EAL

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
• High level of professionalism and care for pupils’ well-being.
• Active involvement in extracurricular activities.

Responsabilidades

• Create a climate conducive to outstanding learning.
• Identify clear objectives and plan differentiated lessons.
• Set targets based on prior attainment and progress.
• Use assessment data to guide planning and evaluate progress.
• Maintain discipline and promote positive behaviour in line with policy.
• Plan, prepare and present engaging sessions for mixed-ability groups.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external specialists as needed.
• Meet with parents to discuss student progress and reports.
• Support school-wide curriculum development and schemes of work.
