Role Context The Humanities Teacher will help students develop a deeper understanding of people, societies, cultures, places and significant events while building critical thinking, communication and independent learning skills. The role requires strong subject knowledge together with the ability to make lessons relevant, accessible and challenging for students across different ability levels. The position also contributes to the wider academic and pastoral life of the school. Through consistent assessment, reflective teaching and close collaboration with colleagues and families, the teacher will support both academic progress and the broader development of each learner.

Ideal Profile

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant humanities subject together with a PGCE or another recognized teaching qualification. A minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience is required. Applicants should demonstrate successful classroom practice and the ability to deliver humanities content to students with different learning profiles. Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language will be valuable within Aldar Education 's multicultural school environment. The successful candidate should have a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to educating the whole child. Strong classroom management, communication and collaborative working skills are essential. Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities is expected, along with a willingness to contribute to wider school events and enrichment opportunities. The appointed teacher will be required to reside in the same Emirate as the assigned school.
