Muna British Academy is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Design Technology (Food and Nutrition) who can inspire creativity, practical confidence and curiosity about the science of food, commencing in the 2027-2028 academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across the wider Key Stage 3 Technology curriculum, while contributing specialist expertise to the development of Food and Nutrition examination pathways as our secondary school expands.

We are looking for a passionate practitioner who combines engaging practical teaching with secure knowledge of nutrition, food science, and healthy eating. Through clear demonstrations, purposeful investigation and skillful adaptation, you will challenge students to plan, prepare, and evaluate food with increasing independence. You will maintain high expectations for food hygiene and kitchen safety, ensuring that practical learning is inclusive and responsive to students’ dietary and cultural needs.

Beyond the classroom, you will enrich students’ experiences through cooking clubs, creative projects, and community activities that celebrate food cultures and promote sustainable choices.
