Build constructive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, curriculum support staff, and other members of the school community. Communicate effectively at different levels and work flexibly with teaching colleagues to strengthen lesson planning and curriculum delivery. Take responsibility for the progress of students within the class and meet school requirements for assessing and recording student development using Target Tracker. Use assessment data to identify learning priorities and inform subsequent planning, classroom provision, and appropriate intervention. Monitor student achievement consistently and provide parents and carers with clear feedback regarding progress through Parent Teacher Conferences and other relevant meetings.
Participate in curriculum action groups and contribute to planning, assessment, learning resources, and relevant special events. Work collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen curriculum provision and maintain consistent approaches to student learning and development. Communicate with parents and carers regarding student achievement and well-being using established school systems and processes, including CPOMS where appropriate.
Support the organization and delivery of school events, outings, and activities, including those that may occasionally take place during evenings or weekends.
