Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a Tax Intern to assist the Tax team in delivering quality services. The role leverages general tax knowledge gained from training and collaboration with experienced tax professionals to support advisory and compliance work.

You will analyse data, prepare documentation, and help manage client engagements under supervision, while developing skills in GCC tax trends and reporting. Immediate joining preferred; 3-6 month duration.

Qualifications

• Eager to apply accounting knowledge to the Tax field.
• MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent English reading, speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and convert data into a tax product for GCC clients.
• Assist with return filing and report generation.
• Provide quality service and minimize rework.
• Prepare client documentation and record changes.
• Check documents for tax inspections in GCC.
• Stay up-to-date on tax trends and authorities.
• Build internal networks and identify opportunities for the team.
• Coordinate with managers for planning of assignments.
• Maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Able to meet strict deadlines.

Title: Tax Intern

The main objective is to help the Tax team deliver quality products using general tax knowledge gained from training or education and assistance from more experienced tax professionals. Contribute to the profitable growth by ensuring client engagements are executed in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and convert data into a tax product (advisory/compliance) for GCC countries and clients
• Be responsible for complete execution of the assigned engagements (a) Preparation and assistance with return filing and report generation
• Provide quality service, be commercial and reduce rework
• Prepare Client Specific documentation and record all the changes and adjustments
• Thoroughly check documents for tax inspections for clients in GCC
• Be up to date on Tax trends, developments and technical authorities
• Build internal networks to develop understanding of service line, offerings and bring potential opportunities to the attention of the team
• Coordinate with the manager/senior executive for planning and management of assignments
• Maintain composure and exercises control in pressure situations in the team
• Ability to meet/adhere to strict deadlines
