Job summary

MMJS Consulting seeks a Tax Intern to assist the Tax team in Dubai, applying accounting knowledge to advisory and compliance work for GCC clients. Immediate joining preferred, with a 3–6 month period. You will help prepare filings, generate reports, and ensure high-quality service while learning from experienced professionals.

You will build client documentation, stay updated on tax developments, and collaborate with seniors to manage assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Legal, or Tax.
• Professional Certificate such as ACCA, CPA, ICAI, ICAEW ADIT, CTA, etc., preferred.
• Available for a period of 3-6 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and convert data into a tax product (advisory/compliance) for GCC countries and clients.
• Be responsible for complete execution of the assigned engagements (a) Preparation and assistance with return filing and report generation
• Provide quality service, be commercial and reduce rework
• Prepare Client Specific documentation and record all the changes and adjustments
• Thoroughly check documents for tax inspections for clients in GCC
• Be up to date on Tax trends, developments and technical authorities
• Build internal networks to develop understanding of service line, offerings and bring potential opportunities to the attention of the team
• Coordinate with the manager/senior executive for planning and management of assignments
• Maintain composure and exercises control in pressure situations in the team
• Ability to meet/adhere to strict deadlines
