Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Manager of Tax Services – Data & Digital to accelerate digitalization of Tax Operations in the UAE. You will own tax data from SAP to output, automate processes with AI, and ensure regulatory readiness for UAE e-invoicing while maintaining data governance and security.

The role requires 4–7 years of delivering data, automation or AI solutions, fluency in English, and collaboration with Group Tax, IT and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development experience with Python, JavaScript or equivalent for data processing, automation or AI solutions.
• Strong data engineering and analysis skills, including advanced Excel/Power Query, data extraction and SQL.
• Experience building AI/ML or generative-AI solutions such as classification models or chatbots.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting fundamentals, tax concepts and project delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end tax data set used for VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and e-invoicing across AFG entities.
• Build and maintain data extraction, mapping, and transformation routines for clean, auditable tax data.
• Design and run automated data quality and exception checks.
• Maintain data lineage and reconciliation between statutory ledgers and tax filings.
• Identify and prioritize automation and AI use cases across Tax Operations.
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions using Python, Power Platform, RPA, and approved AI tooling.
• Produce prototypes and integrate pilots into BAU.
• Support UAE e-invoicing program from a data and integration perspective.
