Job summary

Al-Futtaim Group seeks a Manager of Tax Services - Data & Digital in Dubai to drive digital transformation of Tax Operations. Lead data management, automate compliance, and implement AI across VAT, Corporate Tax and invoicing with SAP data integration.

Role requires 4-7 years in data/automation/AI with at least 2 years hands-on development, plus UAE tax knowledge and stakeholder collaboration. On-site position in Dubai.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years in data, automation or AI solutions, including at least 2 years of hands‑on development experience.

Responsibilities

• Tax Data Management and Data Quality.
• Oversee the end-to-end tax data requirements for VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and electronic invoicing across Al-Futtaim Group entities.
• Develop and maintain data extraction, mapping and transformation processes that produce accurate and auditable tax information.
• Design and implement automated data quality checks to identify incomplete, inconsistent or inaccurate records.
• Establish exception monitoring processes to support timely identification and resolution of data issues.
• Maintain documented data lineage to ensure the traceability of tax information throughout processing and reporting.
• Support reconciliation between statutory accounting ledgers and submitted tax filings.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies affecting tax compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Tax Process Automation and AI Solutions: Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate tax processes and reduce manual administrative work.
• Develop, test and deploy automation and AI-enabled solutions using Python, Power Platform, robotic process automation and approved AI tools.
• Evaluate potential applications of machine learning and generative AI within Tax Operations.
• Build working prototypes to demonstrate practical improvements in tax data processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with process owners to assess the effectiveness and business value of proposed solutions.
• Transition successful automation pilots into business-as-usual operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, version control records and testing evidence for developed solutions.
