Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Assistant Manager, SWIFT & Cross-Border Payments Regulatory Initiatives to support delivery of strategic programs across the Emirates NBD Group. You will interpret regulatory requirements, prepare BRDs, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure successful implementation of payment initiatives.

You will act as SME for SWIFT standards and cross-border payment processes, providing governance and operational support across business, technology, compliance, risk, and operations

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SWIFT standards, messaging formats, and SWIFT-related applications.
• Good understanding of cross-border payment infrastructures and market infrastructures.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 migration, payment processing workflows, and Payment Hub architecture.
• Ability to prepare BRDs, perform impact assessments, and support project delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of banking compliance, operational risk, and governance requirements.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret regulatory requirements and prepare business requirements.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement for regulatory and strategic payment programs.
• Serve as SME for SWIFT standards and cross-border payments.
• Develop and socialize BRDs and coordinate reviews/approvals.
• Support functional specification development aligned with governance.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Payment Hub and drive enhancements.
• Govern SWIFT-related services, invoicing, budgeting, and governance compliance.
• Contribute to regulatory compliance and operational excellence initiatives.
• Plan and deliver SWIFT and cross-border initiatives with minimal disruption.
• Identify initiatives to enhance payment capabilities and client experience.
