Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Environmental and Sustainability Manager for projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading sustainability evaluations, ensuring environmental compliance, and coordinating with project teams from concept through completion.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree preferred, and at least 8 years of experience in sustainability consulting or environmental engineering. The position offers the opportunity to work on large infrastructure projects and grow in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in sustainability consulting, environmental engineering, or infrastructure project sustainability roles.
• Experience working on infrastructure design and project management environments.
• Experience participating in sustainability certification applications including LEED, Estidama, Envision, or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate sustainability and environmental performance data to support infrastructure development projects.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams during planning, design development, tendering, and construction supervision.
• Monitor project sustainability performance and ensure environmental objectives are maintained.

Skills

Sustainability management and environmental compliance expertise

Knowledge of international sustainability frameworks including LEED, BREEAM, Envision, and Estidama

Environmental permitting and regulatory coordination capabilities

Climate risk assessment and sustainability strategy planning

Strong analytical and technical reporting skills

Effective communication and stakeholder coordination for sustainability programs

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Environmental Science, or related discipline

Master's degree in sustainability, environmental engineering, or related field

Estidama Pearl Qualified Professional certification

Professional sustainability credentials such as LEED GA or LEED AP or equivalent certification
