Qualifications

Position Overview

Environmental and Sustainability Manager Infrastructure and Green Development Projects in Abu Dhabi with Parsons Corporation leads sustainability evaluation, environmental compliance, and regulatory coordination across complex infrastructure developments. This role supports project teams from concept through design, construction, and project closeout while ensuring environmental protection, climate resilience, and sustainable development targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate sustainability and environmental performance data to support infrastructure development projects.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams during planning, design development, tendering, and construction supervision stages.
• Support project teams in achieving sustainability goals and regulatory environmental requirements.
• Conduct environmental studies, field surveys, and site investigations to verify environmental compliance.
• Prepare environmental technical studies, sustainability reports, management plans, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate environmental permitting processes and submit permit applications to regulatory authorities.
• Ensure design documentation complies with environmental regulations and applicable sustainability codes.
• Develop sustainability specifications, procurement requirements, and environmental technical provisions for project contracts.
• Establish environmental and sustainability operational plans and procedures for project implementation.
• Review technical submissions prepared by consultants, contractors, and suppliers to verify environmental compliance.
• Respond to technical queries and requests for information related to environmental and sustainability matters.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, environmental agencies, consultants, and contractors regarding sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor project sustainability performance and ensure environmental objectives are maintained throughout project delivery.
