One&Only The Palm invites a skilled Sushi Chef to join L’Abysse Dubai, bringing expertise in nigiri preparation and counter service. You will support and eventually lead the sushi counter during service, ensuring high standards and adherence to recipes.

Ideal candidates hold a culinary diploma with 3+ years at a 5-star hotel, possess HACCP knowledge, and fluency in English, contributing to a collaborative, quality-focused kitchen.

Qualifications

• Culinary school diploma and/or more than 3 years’ work experience.
• 5-star Hotel work experience.
• Knowledge of Food Safety systems (HACCP).
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation, cutting, and mise en place of nigiri according to L’Abysse standards.
• Guarantee consistency, precision, and excellence in taste.
• Be proactive in developing new nigiri with the Sushi chef, embracing creativity.
