Role Title: Support Engineer Veritas — NetBackup administration and support

Role Type: Long Term Permanent Full Time OnSite

• Veritas Sales Engineer
• Veritas Sales Engineer

Responsibilities / Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability and experience in customer-facing positions as a Professional Services consultant
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills
• Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot and administer backup and archival solutions based upon following technologies.
• Must possess required vendor certifications for the same: NetBackup/NetWorker/Backup Exec/ Avamar/Data Domain/NetBackup Appliance/Enterprise Vault/SourceOne
• Additional industry certifications from vendors like HP, Veeam, Cisco and Microsoft are an advantage.

Technology Experience

• NetBackup experience is crucial
• Key experience: Veritas NetBackup administration and support
• Preferred: Data Domain, Enterprise Vault, Avamar, NetWorker
• Tape Library support
• Dell Avamar and Networker (data protection suite) administration and support
• Installation experience for any of the above products is a positive
• 310 years experience

Soft Skills & Requirements

• Full clean driving license
• Experience working in the Gulf region
