Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle is seeking a dynamic RTM Manager in Dubai to lead material planning, demand forecasting, and inventory control across global supply chains. You will implement MRP systems and train cross-functional teams to improve efficiency while steering audits on warehousing and freight costs.

You will collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless operations, participate in IBP, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in material planning, demand planning, inventory management, purchasing, and/or forecasting.
• Strong MRP and SAP planning skills with ability to train cross-functional teams.
• Excellent coordination with diverse teams and external partners.
• Auditing and analytical capabilities in warehousing and freight cost management.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven IBP processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Degree in a related field; certifications are a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Collaborate closely with internal teams including production and supply planning, procurement, plant warehouse, logistics, and business development to guarantee seamless coordination and communication across all functions.
• Engage with external stakeholders such as suppliers, carriers, transporters, and vendors to maintain a reliable flow of materials and resolve any potential disruptions proactively.
• Implement and oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, establishing key parameters, boundaries, and workflows that support new product launches and ongoing supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure vendor adherence to schedules and develop the capabilities of self and key users in SAP planning systems to optimize inventory management for finished goods consistent with KPI objectives.
• Lead auditing efforts for stock take and warehousing operations, establishing robust mechanisms to monitor freight and warehousing costs, and report findings to business leadership for informed decision‑making.
• Participate actively in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, supporting data analysis, dashboard completions, and operational excellence initiatives through close alignment with Plant DMS.
• Continuously evaluate supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced responsiveness to market demands.
• Support cross‑functional projects and assume additional responsibilities as necessary to promote overall supply chain excellence and business growth.

Key Attributes and Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in material planning, demand planning, inventory management & handling, purchasing, and/or Forecasting,
• Strong proficiency with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and SAP planning modules, including proven ability to train and empower cross‑functional teams.
• Exceptional coordination skills, able to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and external partners to ensure alignment and proactive problem‑solving.
• Robust analytical and auditing capabilities, with experience overseeing stock takes, warehousing processes, and the financial aspects related to freight and inventory costs.
• Commitment to operational excellence, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to data‑driven Integrated Business Planning processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear reporting and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Adaptability and resilience in managing multiple priorities while maintaining a keen eye for detail and quality standards.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
