Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY seeks a Senior Piping Construction Supervisor to lead on-site piping activities for oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and safety rules; you will coordinate daily schedules for foremen, welders, fitters and laborers.

Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 7–10 years in piping construction supervision, and welding inspection certs (CSWIP/AWS) or NDT knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in piping construction supervision within oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• Certifications in welding inspection (CSWIP, AWS) or NDT methods are highly advantageous.
• Excellent ability to interpret piping isometrics, P&IDs, and material specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all piping construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project drawings, specs and safety regulations.
• Manage and coordinate daily work schedules for piping crews (foremen, welders, fitters, laborers) to optimise resource allocation.
• Implement and enforce quality control for piping installations including material verification, welding procedures and hydrostatic testing.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks related to piping systems and implement corrective actions.

Job description

Manage and coordinate daily work schedules for piping crews including foremen, welders, fitters, and laborers optimising resource allocation. Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures for all piping installations including material verification, welding procedures and hydrostatic testing. Proactively identify and mitigate potential construction risks and conflicts particularly those related to piping systems and implement corrective actions. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Hold a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in piping construction supervision within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. Certified in relevant welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS) or NDT methods is highly advantageous. Demonstrated expertise in interpreting complex piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and material specifications.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
• Clean-shaven policy applicable
• Candidates must be immediate joiners
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible

Age Criteria: Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.

Managerial and SR. Positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
