Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Supervisor - Linen & Laundry to lead the resort’s laundry team and oversee linen operations for a luxury hospitality setting. The role focuses on timely processing, staff supervision, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in laundry or housekeeping within luxury environments, plus strong leadership, budgeting awareness, and familiarity with laundry systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in laundry or housekeeping operations, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong understanding of textile care, fabric types, and garment handling procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and laundry management systems.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems and basic equipment maintenance.
• Effective leadership and team coordination skills in a multicultural environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting, inventory control, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day laundry operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of linens and guest garments.
• Monitor staff performance, assign tasks, and adjust staffing levels to meet operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, safety protocols, and service quality benchmarks.
• Support the implementation of departmental budgets and track performance against financial targets.
• Assist in analysing equipment usage, workflow efficiency, and resource allocation.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in coordination with the Manager.
• Oversee laundry systems and ensure secure, on-time delivery of items to designated areas.
• Ensure accurate documentation and handling of linen and guest laundry requests.
• Address linen and guest laundry concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Supervisor - Linen & Laundry to join the resort’s Linen & Laundry team.
