Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. is seeking a Subsea Engineer to apply conceptual knowledge in Subsea engineering with guidance from leadership. You will analyze potential solutions using standard procedures and develop expertise in McDermott’s processes and customers.

The role includes installation analysis, coordination of daily tasks, tender support, and contributing to technical documentation. It also involves site visits and mentoring graduates, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
3–8 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
Experience with subsea equipment design and analysis including risers, pipelines, subsea structures and umbilicals.
Experience with industry-standard software packages for design and installation analysis (Orcaflex, Pipelay, Offpipe, Abaqus).
Knowledge of subsea engineering codes and standards; good organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform installation analysis for SURF projects using industry-standard software.
Coordinate daily activities and schedules for Subsea Engineering.
Provide tender engineering support including document review and bid evaluation.
Support procurement, design, and installation engineering/analysis.
Prepare technical reports and design calculations; interface with subcontractors.
