Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working in a school environment.
• Good English language skills or proficiency in the language used within the school curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with children across different age groups.
• Positive attitude with patience, responsibility, and reliability.
• Strong awareness of health, safety, and student well-being practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for individual pupils and small groups inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist students in participating fully in academic and school-based activities.
• Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, and additional learning needs.
• Help implement individual education programmes and monitor student progress.
• Work closely with class teachers to maintain accurate pupil records and attendance.
• Assist with classroom preparation, displays of student work, and teaching resources.
• Support teachers with photocopying, organization, and general classroom tasks.
• Supervise pupils in classrooms and other school locations to ensure safety and discipline.
• Reinforce positive behaviour and support the school's behaviour management policy.
• Coordinate with professionals such as speech therapists and occupational therapists when required.
