Job summary

Al Sahraa Group is seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant in Abu Dhabi to support teachers and promote student development. You will assist in lesson preparation, supervise students, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least two years’ teaching assistant experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience as a teaching assistant or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Work with lead teacher to monitor the class schedule.
• Prepare materials and set up equipment for lessons.
• Review lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment.
• Supervise students during breaks and field trips.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to identify student issues and suggest solutions.
• Document student progress and communicate with parents.
• Assist in creating lesson plans.
• Follow state school rules and regulations.
• Attend training classes, parent conferences, and faculty meetings.
