Job description

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings and verify their compliance with the approved structural design contract documents, specifications and applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with relevant disciplines where structural interfaces occur.
• Review structural material submittals including concrete, reinforcement steel, structural steel, precast elements, anchoring systems and other structural components.
• Conduct periodic site inspections of structural works during construction or as required by site conditions and provide recommendations for corrective actions where necessary.
• Review precast structural elements and related design documents prior to delivery to site or installation.
• Review structural design modifications, contractor proposals, value engineering submissions and site‑related design changes, and assess the impact of proposed changes on structural integrity, safety and code compliance.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to structural works and attend coordination and progress meetings as required.
• Provide engineering advice and clarification during the construction phase.
• Report to the Project Manager and work closely with other project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software including ETABS, SAFE, PROKON and other relevant applications.
• Extensive experience in the design and coordination of precast concrete elements and systems.
