ORBIT ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS in Dubai seeks a structural engineer to design and coordinate the structure for assigned projects, in coordination with engineers and architects. You will prepare detailed structural drawings and assist draftsmen, review drawings, liaise with local authorities, and support the contractor during construction with design and contract issues.

Travel outside UAE as required. The Dubai Municipality registration and other authority registrations are included in the

• Design the structure for the assigned projects in coordination with the engineer and architects
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and assist in preparation of the drawings by the structural draftsman
• Review of structural drawings for projects designed by others
• Liaise with local authorities
• Review approve and process all technical submittals shop drawings etc
• Provide support to the contractor during the construction phase of the project with design related and prime contract issues
• Review contractor s claim
• Prepare recommendations for claims approvals or rejection of structural works
• Assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedule for structural works
• Preparation of monthly progress reports for Client for structural issues
• Close coordination with Architectural and MEP Engineers
• Travel outside the U A E as required
• Company will be responsible for all expenses during stay outside U A E Dubai Municipality registration along with all other authority registrations including JAFZ et…
