Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking a structural engineer to prepare and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for projects in Dubai. The role involves performing structural analysis for reinforced concrete and steel, coordinating with architectural, MEP, and civil teams, and conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and UAE regulations.

You'll review shop drawings and technical submissions, maintain records, and support QA/QC and handover

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel, foundations, and other structural systems.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, civil, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review structural drawings, shop drawings, design calculations, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable UAE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and relevant international standards.
• Assist in developing structural solutions that are safe, economical, practical, and suitable for construction.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor structural works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and resolve structural design and construction-related issues in coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Review RFIs, method statements, inspection requests, and technical submissions related to structural works.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor structural works and provide technical support during construction.
• Assist with quality control and ensure structural works meet required engineering and safety standards.
• Support value-engineering initiatives to optimize structural design and project costs.
• Maintain accurate records of structural drawings, calculations, revisions, approvals, and project documentation.
• Provide technical support during testing, inspection, snagging, and project handover activities.
