Engineering Consortium Consulting Engineers in Dubai is seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will perform structural analysis, prepare drawings and calculations, and coordinate with architects and other disciplines to ensure project delivery in line with codes and client requirements.

We value 5–10 years of relevant experience, familiarity with UAE/GCC practices, and proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified strong Structural Engineer Design strong to join our engineering team in Dubai The successful candidate will be responsible for structural analysis design preparation of engineering drawings and calculations and coordination with architects and other disciplines to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with applicable codes standards and client requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for all kind of projects
• Prepare structural calculations design reports specifications and technical documents
• Design reinforced concrete and structural steel elements including foundations columns beams slabs retaining walls and other structural components
• Review architectural and structural drawings to identify design requirements and potential conflicts
• Coordinate with architectural MEP civil and other engineering disciplines
• Prepare and review structural design drawings and details using strong AutoCAD and or Revit strong
• Conduct structural analysis using relevant engineering software such as strong ETABS SAFE SAP2000 strong or equivalent
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable strong UAE Dubai RAK regulations international standards and project-specific requirements strong
• Review shop drawings material submittals calculations and technical submissions where required
• Respond to technical queries RFIs and design-related issues during construction
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients contractors consultants and other stakeholders
• Carry out site inspections when required to verify structural works and resolve technical issues
• Support the preparation of tender documents BOQs specifications and technical reports
• Ensure all design deliverables are completed accurately and within the required project schedule
• Maintain proper records of calculations drawings revisions and technical correspondence

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering from a recognized university.Professional engineering certification or relevant UAE accreditation is an advantage.Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building design.Good knowledge of UAE construction practices and applicable international codes.Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.Good knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.Strong technical, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Experience5–10 years of relevant structural design experience, preferably with an engineering consultancy.Experience in the design of residential, commercial, hospitality, high-rise, or mixed-use projects is preferred.UAE/GCC experience is highly desirable.Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams is an advantage.
