Job summary

Creative Home Building Contracting LLC in Dubai seeks a Structural & Design Engineer with proven UAE experience in high-end residential villa projects. You will handle end-to-end structural modeling, calculations, and integrated drawing sets, coordinating with MEP and securing approvals from Dubai authorities.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of UAE experience, a civil/structural degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.Pro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• G+1 License / Registration with Dubai Municipality / Society of Engineers.
• Minimum 3–7 years of UAE experience in residential villas and extensions.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, and structural calculation tools.
• Thorough knowledge of Dubai Building Code (DBC), ACI 318, BS codes, and local guidelines.
• Ability to produce coordinated residential MEP submission drawings.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and calculations for RC, foundations, steel structures, and load-bearing alterations.
• Assess villas, design interventions for openings, and add vertical/horizontal elements.
• Create and coordinate MEP drawings using AutoCAD/Revit for buildability.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and NOC docs for DM, DDA, Trakhees, and master developers.
• Review structural and MEP drawings for outdoor pools, walls, and landscape elements.
• Perform site inspections to verify reinforcement, shuttering, pours, and compliance.

About the Role

Creative Home is seeking a versatile, hands-on Structural & Design Engineer with proven UAE experience in high-end residential villa projects, including new builds, structural modifications, extensions, and rebuilds.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end structural modeling, engineering calculations, producing integrated structural and MEP drawing sets, and managing authority approval submissions (Dubai Municipality / DDA / Trakhees / Master Developers).

Key Responsibilities

• -Structural Design & Calculations: Perform comprehensive structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete (substructure & superstructure), foundations, steel pergolas/structures, and load-bearing alterations using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro.
• -Villa Renovations & Extensions: Conduct structural site assessments for existing villas, evaluate load-bearing walls, design structural steel/concrete interventions for layout openings, and engineer vertical/horizontal additions.
• -MEP & Coordination Drawings: Produce and coordinate detailed MEP layout drawings (electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC coordination) alongside structural sets using AutoCAD/Revit to ensure buildability and compliance.
• -Authority Approvals & Submissions: Prepare complete drawing packages, structural calculations, and NOC documentation for submission to Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), Trakhees, DEWA, Civil Defense, and master developers (Emaar, Nakheel, Damac, etc.).
• -Specialized Outdoor/Pool Engineering: Review and prepare structural and MEP engineering drawings for swimming pools, water features, pump rooms, boundary walls, and outdoor hardscape structures.
• -Site Inspections & Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to inspect steel reinforcement, shuttering, concrete pours, and structural alterations to ensure strict compliance with approved design drawings and UAE building codes.
• -Technical Support & RFIs: Provide timely technical resolutions for on-site structural queries, shop drawing reviews, and contractor submittals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• -Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• -Licensing / Registration: G+1 License / Registration minimum (Dubai Municipality / Society of Engineers registered engineer).
• -Experience: Minimum 3–7 years of structural design and site engineering experience in the UAE, with a strong portfolio in residential villas, extensions, and custom structural modifications.
• -Technical Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, and structural calculation tools.
• -Codes & Standards: Thorough working knowledge of the Dubai Building Code (DBC), ACI 318, BS codes, and local authority guidelines.
• -MEP Drafting: Hands-on ability to produce coordinated residential MEP submission drawings.
