Job summary

Wrenze Engineering Consultancy L.L.C seeks a skilled Steel Structure Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Dubai. You will design steel structures such as warehouses, factories, and commercial buildings, and perform structural analysis using ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, with Ideastatica mandatory.

You will develop and review structural drawings, prepare calculations and reports, review shop drawings, and coordinate with BIM teams, architects, MEPs, contractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3-8+ years experience in steel structure design (position dependent).
• Experience with ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD and Excel; Ideastatica required.
• Tekla Structures/Revit is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design steel structures like warehouses, factories, and buildings.
• Perform structural analysis and design with specified software.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and drawings in coordination with BIM teams.
• Review shop and fabrication drawings and provide fabrication support.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes (AISC 360, ASCE 7, IBC and local authorities).

We are seeking a highly motivated Steel Structure Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for :

Key Responsibilities

• Design steel structures including warehouses, factories, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.
• Perform structural analysis and design using engineering software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Ideastatica is a MUST ).
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
• Develop and review structural drawings in coordination with detailers and BIM teams.
• Design steel connections and foundation reactions.
• Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Ensure designs comply with AISC 360 , ASCE 7 , IBC, and local authority requirements.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and construction.
• Participate in value engineering and optimization of structural systems.
