Job summary

Primus Workforce is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the UAE to drive financial strategy, governance and project funding across a high-value construction portfolio.

The role requires 10+ years in finance leadership within UAE construction or contracting, strong IFRS/ERP experience, and excellence in stakeholder management and banking relations. English fluency is required; Arabic is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, UAE construction or contracting exposure.
• Must have proven banking relationships in UAE for project financing and working capital.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience with IFRS and ERP systems used in construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management; English required; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead financial strategy to support growth and project execution.
• Oversee financial reporting, statements and IFRS compliance.
• Manage cash flow, banking facilities and working capital.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across projects.
• Identify financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with project leaders to provide financial guidance and literacy.
