Job summary

Masdar in Abu Dhabi seeks a Technical Manager for BESS & Hybrid Solutions to lead technical analyses, design aspects and project management of utility-scale energy storage systems, integrating alternative chemistries and hybrid configurations in Masdar's engineering plans.

The role requires 6–8 years in BESS technologies with at least 3 years guiding the technical stream of large hybrid projects; you will plan resources, define specifications, budgets and schedules with contractors and clients,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
• Master's degree related to electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years in BESS technologies.
• 3+ years leading the technical stream on large scale BESS hybrid projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and techno-economic analyses for BESS and hybrid projects.
• Define specs, budgets and timescales with contractors/clients.
• Provide technical guidance across project lifecycles.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align with Masdar's goals.
