Job summary

MashreqBank in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Relationship Manager for Business Banking to manage a portfolio of Small Enterprise clients and originate new SE relationships. You will drive cross-selling, KYC, and risk controls while delivering superior service across branch locations.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in banking, strong communication, and MBA/CA or equivalent; you will work to upgrade customers and achieve growth targets within a structured UBO process.

Qualifications

• Banking Sales & service experience with proven relationship management qualities.
• Advanced vocational knowhow of the subject matter (Credit, Trade, Operating system, Legal, etc).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• At least 4 years + relevant banking experience in local or international market.
• MBA/CA or if a regular graduate needs to possess adequate relevant experience.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Improve share of wallet and target to be primary bank for each relationship in the portfolio.
• Assume complete ownership of customer relationship management for the accounts.
• Conduct annual/periodic credit facility reviews and recommend facilities per policy.
• Follow-up and monitor relationships for satisfactory account conduct.
• Maintain control aspects: documentation, visits, reports, and credit checks.
• Screen the market for NTB opportunities.
• Liaise with internal/external advisors to ensure precision of agreements.
• Develop on the job learning curve for SSO growth and responsibility.
• Collaborate with Risk and enabling units to achieve objectives.
• Achieve assigned financial and non-financial targets.
• Adhere to KYC/AML and regulatory policies.
