The role requires advanced cost estimation, procurement strategy, contract management, and strong financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Significant experience in commercial management or quantity surveying within real estate development and construction.
• Experience in pre-contract estimating, procurement, and post-contract commercial management.
• Proven experience managing consultant appointments and construction tenders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of assigned real estate development projects, ensuring commercial control, timely procurement, and adherence to budgets and governance.
• Manage pre-contract estimating, cost plans, and procurement strategies to support project decisions.
• Lead post-contract commercial management, variations, and final account negotiations with consultants and contractors.
• Prepare concise monthly commercial reports and governance materials for senior management and project stakeholders.
• Provide commercial input to business cases and stage-gate reviews with robust analysis.
