Job summary

ESG Emirates Stallions Group P.J.S.C. in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Cost Controller/Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs and contractual aspects from award to project completion.

You will prepare detailed BOQs and budgets, evaluate suppliers, draft and administer contracts, and monitor expenditures while ensuring compliance with FIDIC and company policies. This role requires procurement experience and strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, interior design or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of materials and methods of construction finishing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, plan swift or similar QS software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Procurement experience is must.
• Strong understanding of contracts such as FIDIC.
• Excellent time-management skills, juggling multiple tasks within set deadlines.
• Data organization skills.
• Excellent attention to details.
• Strong knowledge of daily QS works such as IPA, VOs, PCs and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage costs and contractual aspects from award to completion.
• Prepare detailed cost BOQs and budgets based on drawings and specs.
• Evaluate quotations and prepare comparison sheets for technical and commercial.
• Draft, review and administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare interim payment applications, final accounts and variation claims.
• Track project costs and identify overruns; propose corrective actions.
• Issue RFQs and coordinate with procurement and project teams.
• Maintain documentation for audits and final accounts.
• Conduct site visits to verify work and payment claims.
