The Strategic Transformation Projects Leader will lead the end-to-end definition, mobilization and delivery of priority strategic initiatives across the Gulf Cluster as well as shaping the cluster response to the evolving new energy landscape. The role converts strategic priorities into executable programs, aligns global and local stakeholders, establishes viable business cases and operating models, and ensures disciplined delivery of measurable growth, customer and capability outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Strategic initiatives leadership Own the portfolio of selected cross-business strategic projects from opportunity framing and business case through execution, stabilization and benefits realization. Translate strategic initiatives into clear project charters, roadmaps, milestones, decision points, resource plans and measurable outcomes. Prioritize initiatives based on strategic fit, customer value, financial impact, feasibility and risk. Strategic Initiatives E2E Deployment Lead strategic initiative assessments covering market demand, product scope, industrial footprint, supply chain, sourcing, regulatory requirements, certifications, incentives and partner options. Develop and recommend business models such as local assembly, local manufacturing, contract manufacturing, strategic partnerships. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to build implementation-ready plans. Create value cases that quantify revenue potential, margin impact, investment, etc New energy landscape and growth agenda Monitor and structure the implications of policy, regulation, technology, value‑chain shifts, funding models and customer investment priorities across the Gulf new energy ecosystem. Identify strategic growth spaces across electrification, e‑mobility infrastructure, distributed energy, grid modernization, energy management and adjacent solutions relevant to the cluster portfolio. Develop market perspectives, maps and strategic recommendations for leadership decisions, including build, partner, acquire or incubate options. Partner with sales and business teams to convert strategic themes into qualified opportunities, lighthouse projects and scalable plays. Program delivery and governance Establish robust program governance, including steering committees, workstreams, stage gates, decision logs, risk registers and executive reporting. Drive pace, accountability and cross‑functional collaboration, proactively resolving dependencies and escalating decisions with clear recommendations. Maintain integrated plans across scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, quality and benefits. Ensure projects transition effectively into business‑as‑usual ownership with agreed processes, capabilities, KPIs and governance Key Success Factors: High ownership and the ability to create clarity and momentum in ambiguous, cross‑functional environments. Strong executive communication and influencing skills, supported by fact‑based recommendations and concise decision‑making materials. Ability to structure complex problems, develop investment cases and lead transformation programs through implementation. Credibility with technical, industrial, commercial and external ecosystem stakeholders. Rigorous governance, risk management and follow‑through. Ability to balance short‑term delivery with scalable, long‑term strategic value.
Bachelor degree in engineering, business, economics or a related discipline; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred. Typically upto 10 years of experience in strategy, business development, transformation, program leadership, industrial operations, energy management, electrification or a related field. Proven experience leading complex, multi‑stakeholder strategic projects with measurable business outcomes. Experience in Make In emirates, industrial partnerships, supply‑chain development, e‑mobility, electrical distribution, energy management or new energy ecosystems is strongly preferred. Strong financial acumen, including business‑case development, scenario modeling, investment evaluation and benefits tracking. Good communication skills.
