Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Specialist in Project Risk Management to oversee risk activities for the strategic capital projects portfolio. You will lead risk discipline, develop standards, and ensure effective risk responses to meet project objectives.

The role requires deep Oil & Gas project experience, PMI-RMP/PMP preferred, and strong leadership to build a Group-wide risk culture and Communities of Practice across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably with an advanced professional degree in Project Risk Management, Project Management or Engineering.
• 15 years of experience within Oil & Gas projects with exposure to various aspects for Project Management and Project Risk Management at project, business unit, and corporate levels.
• Subject Matter Expert Knowledge in Project Risk Management applied to Oil & Gas Capital Projects.
• Preferably Certification as PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) and/or PMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Risk Management discipline across ADNOC Group, providing direction on risk integration.
• Develop and maintain standards, guidelines, and procedures as Group Technical Authority (Level 1).
• Oversee the Project Risk Management framework and competency development within the Group.
• Lead the implementation of the Technical Authority Framework on Project Risk Management roles across ADNOC Group.
• Develop and maintain the Project Risk Management Knowledge community across the Group Companies.
• Provide risk management advice, supporting Group Companies in delivering projects within a risk framework.
• Assess top risks in ADNOC Capital Program and report to internal/external stakeholders.
