Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi seeks a Project Coordinator to support complex capability development initiatives within Powertech. The role emphasizes project control, coordination, and admin support across the full lifecycle of projects.

The candidate will maintain accurate project information, update schedules, track risks and actions, capture timesheets, and ensure effective communication among stakeholders in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years’ experience in project coordination or project support roles, preferably within defence, aerospace, or engineering projects.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI).
• Experience supporting multiple projects in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource plans.
• Track project progress against milestones and highlight deviations to the Project Manager.
• Support the preparation and update of project plans, baselines, and change logs.
• Project Controls & Reporting: Maintain project dashboards, KPIs, and status reports (cost, schedule, risk, and performance metrics).
• Consolidate inputs from relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations as required.
• Document & Configuration Management: Manage project documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure proper classification, storage, and handling of sensitive and export-controlled information.
• Coordination of Technical Activities: Coordinate day-to-day project activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support planning and execution of key project phases including design reviews, construction activities, and commissioning events.
• Meeting & Stakeholder Coordination: Organize project meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.
• Prepare agendas, capture minutes of meeting (MoM), and track action items.Facilitate communication between internal departments and external partners.
