Job summary

Precision Group is seeking a procurement professional to manage sourcing, cost negotiations, and purchasing of raw materials, consumables, spare parts and related items. The role involves expediting orders, supplier liaison, and maintaining records in accordance with ISO and internal procedures.

You will identify procurement needs, compile specifications, issue RFQs, compare bids, and coordinate approvals to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Purchasing or related field preferred.
• Additional training or knowledge in materials management is an advantage.
• Experience with procurement processes and supplier negotiations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify procurement needs from stakeholders and compile material specs.
• Coordinate RFQs, bid comparisons and payment terms for review.
• Liaise with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery as per terms.
• Coordinate supplier meetings and explore new sourcing opportunities.
• Monitor contract performance and escalation of issues when needed.
• Prepare basic reports on procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with user departments to understand requirements and ensure smooth procurement tasks.
• Maintain procurement records with full traceability.
