Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join our client in Fujairah in the oil and gas sector. You will lead a centralized procurement function, managing the full purchasing lifecycle for raw materials, machinery, and services across group companies to ensure quality, safety, and cost-efficiency.

You will drive strategic sourcing, vendor management, and LTAs, negotiate terms, coordinate with production and warehousing, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of procurement experience in centralized sourcing for manufacturing, construction materials, or mining/quarrying.
• Deep understanding of construction materials, industrial machinery maintenance parts, and international shipping/logistics.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills; proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle) and MS Office.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Certifications: CIPS or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing in a centralized function for raw materials, machinery, and services.
• Develop and implement centralized sourcing strategies to drive cost efficiencies.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate LTAs, and manage contracts and terms.
• Coordinate with Production, Project Managers, and Warehouse teams to forecast needs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements; monitor supplier performance.
