Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Buyer (Oil & Gas) in Dubai to lead end-to-end procurement for projects, from supplier identification to PO issuance and delivery monitoring.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain records, and collaborate with operations, engineering and finance to forecast demand and optimize inventory, supporting budgets and schedules. GCC experience is advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business, or Engineering.
• Proven procurement and supplier management experience.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems and MS Office.
• GCC/regional experience is beneficial.
• On-site Dubai work required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for oil and gas projects.
• Identify suppliers, request and evaluate quotations, and negotiate terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations; maintain records.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and finance to forecast demand and optimize inventory.
• Review supplier performance and drive cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.
